VITRIFIED GRINDING WHEELS

Creepfeed Grinding

Creepfeed grinding

Specially formulated porous bond systems to rough and finish a variety of materials in a single pass. Creep-feed grinding wheels are highly porous wheels that achieve high stock removal rates and are used to grind difficult to machine alloys.

Standard sizes: 350, 400mm

The TOPLINE range of creep-feed grinding wheels offer exceptional material removal rates and superior surface finishes in grinding a wide variety of material at different speeds. Our specially formulated high porosity bond systems give good repeatability, close tolerances and burr-free surfaces while reducing grinding costs. The use of creep-feed wheels has spread from the aerospace industry to many others and is particularly effective in grinding difficult-to-machine materials. The grinding operation essentially eliminates the soft milling stage through high stock removal rates, resulting in lower piece-part costs accompanied by better surface finishes. These wheels are commonly used while grinding aluminum, titanium, magnesium, tool steels, stainless steels, nickel alloys and inconel material.
